Our Story
Where this all started
Anna & Jack's Treehouse has been caring for kids in Westchester for over a decade, with three locations and seven consecutive Best of Westchester awards. The school is named after two of the founder's children. But they have two more: Angie and Paul.
Nest Sitters grew out of something we kept hearing from families: “Can our teacher babysit this weekend?” Turns out, when you already trust someone with your child's days, you'd love to trust them with your evenings too.
But here's where it got interesting. When we started building this, we didn't just ask parents what they wanted. We asked kids. Including our own. Angie and Paul had a lot of opinions about what makes a great sitter. (Spoiler: it's not someone who hands you an iPad and sits on the couch.)
Their perspective shaped everything about how this app works. The focus on what happens during the sit. The child profiles. The whole philosophy that kids deserve a real evening, not just supervision.
And because we liked having them around, we built Angie and Paul right into the app. They're your guides. They help you book, find your sitter, and keep everything simple.
The school started with Anna and Jack. This one belongs to Angie and Paul.
