What I like most about working with kids is being able to build a connection with them and watch them learn, grow, and become their own little person. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children, learning about their interests and personalities, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their parents are away. I’m a mom of two boys, ages 11 and 13, so I have many years of hands-on experience caring for children and understanding their different needs, personalities, and stages of development. I’ve also been babysitting since I was 16 and have over 8 years of experience working with kids. Through my experience, I’ve learned how important it is to be patient, responsible, attentive, and dependable. I enjoy keeping kids active and engaged through age-appropriate activities, games, crafts, reading, outdoor play, and simply spending quality time with them. I’m also comfortable helping with meals, snacks, homework, routines, and making sure children stay on a schedule. Most importantly, I want children to feel that they are in a safe and positive environment where they can have fun and be themselves. Being a mom has taught me a lot about patience, communication, responsibility, and the importance of creating a sense of trust. I understand that leaving your children with someone is a big decision, and I take that responsibility seriously. I would treat every child in my care with the same kindness, attention, and respect that I would want someone to show my own children. I truly enjoy working with kids and feel that caring for them is something I’m passionate about.
