Hi! My name is Mariyah, I have 6 years of experience in working with kids and have been a teacher at Anna and Jacks Treehouse for 3 years. Working with children has become one of my greatest passions. Creating an environment where children feel secure, loved, and confident in themselves is a top priority for me. My goal is to always have fun as well as creating a positive, nurturing space! Whether it’s through learning, dancing, creativity, playing pretend or even doing something so simple like reading a book. My favorite thing about working with children is witnessing them hit different milestones and celebrating their accomplishments even if they are small wins! To me, being a teacher is so much more than just job. It’s about allowing children to make mistakes, wonder, imagine, grow and let their personalities shine. Some of my favorite hobbies outside of childcare are traveling, exploring nature and photography.
